Back from the Highlands (and predictably covered in insect bites, since I am apparently a magnet for blood-sucking invertebrates), but still getting up to speed. I hope to resume the Game next week, but this week it will just be housekeeping and comments.

Those bastards are highly attracted to me too. The one benefit though, is it keeps them away from my family, because they're so busy with me. :)

Oh my god, I can relate to this. Whenever there are mosquitoes around they always go for me and ignore everyone else! I just can't understand it. Pisses me off...

It's something about the way you smell.
I always jokingly referred to the fact I used to eat a lot of Marmite, and that made me repellent to them.
Of course that just opens me up to obvious jibes stating the fact I was repellent had nothing to do with the Marmite... :-D
The other point might be that my diet (Marmite not withstanding) sucks mightily and I probably had no nutrients that bloodsuckers could detect!
