Just a note about the low numbers - I couldn't answer based on the options provided. Because I do play multiplayer FPS, but I've only ever played re-spawn ones (Halo, basically) so I couldn't actually say which I prefer!

Rik: ah, it hadn't occurred to me that people might be unable to answer from lack of experience, but of course you are right: if you've never played a knockout style game, how can you possibly make a judgement call?
