Greetings and salutations, and welcome back to Only a Game, the weblog of philosopher, game designer and mythographer Chris Bateman!

For seven years, I have rambled in various degrees of coherence about everything from the role of make-believe in game design to the portrayal of religion in science fiction, not to mention a dialogue between Pluto and Eris about whether or not they are planets. I’ve interviewed Mary Midgley, Mike Moorcock, Kendall Walton, John O’ Reiss, Stephen Yablo and many others in a never-ending quest to make philosophy fun and accessible to a wider audience.
